The club was established as a direct result of the numerous onerous and despicable tribes of unruly Norse Invaders who were terrorising the humble peasantry around the beggining of the Millenium.
Until recently consisting of mainly stout hearted warriors, begged borrowed and outright stolen from other clubs then herded into the Raven pecked fields of Clontarf by Seamus Dunmaggotin, often at the point of his sword, cursed alongside their mad King to re-fight the slaughter again and again until that far off time when they inevitably get it right.
